Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How quickly will my membership be processed?
A:  Generally we process membership applications within one to two business days however occasionally it may take up to a five business days.

Q; How do I get my AGA ID number?
A: You may retrieve your AGA ID number by clicking here and completing the requested information.

Q: How do I get my password?
A: You may reset your AGA password by clicking here.  Please note you will need to enter the email associated with your membership.

Q: How much are AGA dues?
A: AGA has four dues categories: Full Government, Early Career, Private and Student.  Please see the AGA dues schedule for rates and definitions.

Q: How much are my chapter dues?
A: Chapter dues vary, please visit the
chapter dues chart. Chapters are listed alphabetically by state.

Q: How can I find out the contact person for the chapter in my area?
A: See our
Chapter List.  Click on your chapter name and you will be directed to contact information.

Q: Can I be a member of two chapters at the same time?
A: Yes, you may be a member of more than one chapter in AGA. Please email our Customer Satisfaction Center at agamembers@agacgfm.org to add a chapter to your membership.  Please note there may be additional chapter dues. See AGA’s chapter dues schedule for more information.

Q: How do I change my chapter?
A: Please email our Customer Satisfaction Center at
agamembers@agacgfm.org to request a transfer.

Q:  How do I update my contact information?
A:  You may update your contact information at anytime by using your login and password to sign in to the members only area and clicking the edit button.

Q: How do I print my certificate for CPEs?
A: You will need your AGA ID number to obtain your CPE certificate here.  Click on the conference or event you attended to pull up your certificate.
