This year’s conference will be held July 27–30, 2008, at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis, located at 265 Peachtree Center Ave., Atlanta, GA 30303.
Onsite Registration & Check-In
Registration will be located in the Marquis Foyer of the Atlanta Marriott Marquis. Upon arrival, please stop by the Registration Desk to receive your name badge and other conference materials. Registration will be open during the following hours:

Conference Attire
Business casual attire is appropriate for all conference activities. We recommend that you dress in layers and bring a sweater or jacket to the sessions in case the room temperature is not comfortable for you.
Atlanta’s average high temperature in July is 89 degrees and the average low is 71 degrees. Temperatures may vary from day to day so please plan accordingly.
Name Badge Policy
Please remember to wear your badge when attending AGA functions. This allows you access to conference sessions, receptions and the Exhibit Hall. Your badge is proof of registration; without it, you will not be allowed to participate in any conference activities. Guests must be accompanied by a registered attendee. There are no exceptions to this policy.
Special Assistance
Should you need assistance during the conference, please stop by the Registration Desk or look for AGA staff. In cases of a medical emergency, you may also dial “0” on any house phone.
Message Center
A message board will be located near the Registration Desk and will be available throughout the conference for posting messages for conference attendees. AGA does not have the ability to deliver messages directly to attendees, so we ask that you check the board occasionally.
In an emergency, we will do our best to locate attendees in the meeting rooms at the beginning and end of each session. However, sessions will not be interrupted, so please remember to check the message board and/or voice mail during breaks.
Lost and Found
For your convenience, a lost and found box will be kept at the Registration Desk, where you can bring found items or report lost items. AGA is not responsible for lost personal property.
No Smoking Policy
For the comfort and health of all attendees, smoking is not permitted at any AGA function. The Atlanta Marriott Marquis is a non-smoking facility.
Responsible Drinking Policy
Recognizing the emphasis on networking through receptions and social events and the potential for alcohol abuse, AGA encourages attendees to drink responsibly. Supporting this policy, AGA offers nonalcoholic beverages at all functions where alcohol is served. Alcohol will not be served to anyone under age 21.
Cell Phone and PDA Policy
As a courtesy to speakers and other attendees, please refrain from the use of PDAs or cell phones during presentations. We ask that you kindly turn off your phone/PDA or set it to vibrate and leave the session if you receive a call or page.
Photography Disclosure
AGA takes photographs during its meetings and events for use in Association advertising, newsletters and other promotional materials, whether in print, electronic or other media, including the AGA website. By participating in this conference you grant AGA the right to use your name and photograph for such purposes.
Allergies/Dietary Restrictions
AGA selects lunch menus we hope everyone will enjoy. We realize that some individuals have dietary restrictions and food allergies. AGA has made arrangements to offer a vegetarian meal at lunch for individuals who are unable eat the entrée selection for that day.
Please be sure to indicate on your registration form if you have any food allergies or dietary restrictions. Attendees who have special dietary restrictions that prevent them from eating the standard entrée selection will be provided with a vegetarian meal based as closely as possible on their specific dietary needs.
Due to the large number of attendees, substitutions to the vegetarian meal or the standard conference meal may not be possible. Please make alternative meal arrangements if you have several food allergies or very specific dietary restrictions, as our food and beverage options may not meet your needs.
AGA will do its best to accommodate all dietary requests; however because the focus is on food allergies we cannot always guarantee requests such as low-fat, low-salt, low-carb, sugar-free, etc.

AGA strives to hold meetings that are accessible to all. Please tell us what you require to help make your participation more enjoyable and meaningful. Be sure to indicate on your registration form if you require special assistance, auxiliary aids or other reasonable accommodations to fully participate in this event. Child Care
The hotel does not have a child care facility. However, in-room babysitting services can be arranged through the concierge desk. Service is provided by TLC Child Care Services, a company that provides licensed, bonded babysitters who will care for your children in your hotel room.
